Patrick is a registered 1999 Arabian gelding, 14.2 h. Has done a great deal of trail riding, would make a good trail mount or competitive trail/endurance prospect. He also has a solid foundation in dressage and has been started over fences. Sound, smart, athletic, and willing - could do just about anything with a bit of training! Easy keeper and great in turnout with both geldings and mares. Can be forward intermediate-experienced rider. Click here for a video of Patrick

Lonestar is 8yo Leopard Appy Gelding, he was ridden in his auction video, however, he may have had a bad human in his life as he seems nervous with human touch, especially when it comes to using tack. He is green, needs an experienced, quiet and patient person that is willing to gain his trust. Lonestar has not been ridden in two years, he is calm and quiet on the ground, with a sweet willing to learn personality- Experienced rider only or a trainer's project horse. Great companion horse too. Click here for a video of Lonestar

Marple is a possible 1992 Morgan cross who was sent to a local auction. Because of her serious skin condition, the auction house sold her to SCR privately.
Miss Marple found a forever home with a wonderful family who has a history of making a huge difference in the lives of abused animals who need to re-learn to trust. We wish the all the best of luck together.

2007, 12yo Quarter-horse mare, about 14.2hh Nutmeg has been doing great with weight gain since she was saved out of an auction this past fall. We are still getting to know Nutmeg, but she was reported as hackline trail horse, and is best suited for a trail riding environment, with one owner/rider that she will learn to trust. Nutmeg is easy to handle, leads well, is sound, stands for the farrier, however, a touch nervous when her hind feet are trimmed. Nutmeg would be considered for an intermediate rider. Please feel free to contact the rescue if you are interested in Nutmeg.

Pip is a 2004 palomino PMU gelding from Canada. He seems to have had some handling, but at this point, we still need to go slow with him.
Pip found his forever home with a nice family, and will have another PMU foal to keep him company at his new barn. We wish him the best of luck with his new family.

Storm Cloud, or Pokey as we call him around the barn, is a flashy leopard 2002 Appaloosa gelding with great movement. When he came to us, he was not broke to saddle, and had little "world experience".
Pokey quickly learned vocal commands, how to ground drive and is rideable at the walk and trot. He has been calm and accepting of his lessons so far.
Pokey found his forever home with a great family who is willing to continue his education. We wish them all the best of luck together.

2009 10/11yo Quarterhorse gelding. Poncho has been doing great with his weight gain since he was saved out of an auction this past fall. Poncho is working on building muscle tone, however is ready to be considered for a forever home. We are still getting to know Poncho, but he is best suited for a trail riding environment, he is an easy going horse to ride, and outside of an arena seems unfazed and happy. Poncho is easy to handle, however, seems mildly impatient in cross ties. Leads well, stands for the farrier and is sound. Poncho could be considered for an advanced beginner. Please feel free to contact the rescue if you are interested in Poncho.

2013 Rocky Mountain Mare, 14.1hh...We saved Roxy from a kill buyers auction back in January 2017... she was rather slender but not the worst I've seen... winter is tough to put weight back on a horse,,, but Roxy got bigger...bigger and even bigger.... Mid March we kinda figured things out and on May 5, 2017, it was confirmed and later Ms. Roxy gave birth to Kookie on June 19, 2017. Roxy did great as she worked through the months of raising her little guy. Roxy is currently in work and looking for her forever home. She is a sweet girl, green broke, and is nice to have around.
